uh, i downloaded quantum fog, but each time i try to click on it to launch the app, the icon moves a bit to the left or right, and sometimes even jumps upwards or downwards. so i haven't been able to try it yet. :-(

Can you please tell me what machine (Intel or PPC) and operating system you are using.

The following observation, by Alex (thanks Alex), may be pertinent to your problem:
"On my machine, QuantumFog 2 crashes when attempting to open a document on a locked volume (QFog2.dmg). The same document is opened without problems if it's on a writeable volume. Whether QuantumFog itself is on locked or on a writeable volume makes no difference."
