Flash content not displaying ins Safari

After the last Mac OS X update 10.8.4 Safari has quit displaying Flash animation content. Flash content works fine in FireFox, Camio and Opera.
I have reinstalled the 9.0.20.0 Flash Player (I have tested both the Universal and PPC versions) and repaired the permissions, ran *censored*tail to do a complete flush of the System and Internet caches.
