This software has had three updates in a period of five days, but there haven't been any "What's New is this version" comments for these past three updates. Is this developer changing, updating, or improving this software at all? Perhaps VersionTracker should prohibit, or not include 'updates' that don't include a "What's New" paragraph. They could run a comparison on the previous versions release (otherwise a developer could simply repeat the previous comment) if necessary. Releasing new versions (without any actual updates), is a pretty sneaky way for a company to get visibility. As long as this software is in the daily VersionTracker listing, it's going to get exposure to all the subscribers.

I tried visiting the developers website in order to see what they had to say about updates, but they require a 'registration' in order to use their forum website. That's just wrong!

If companies/developers aren't actually updating the software, they shouldn't be included in the "Today's Updates" listing.

Three updates in 5 days, but no "What's New" comments - Jeff Hendrickson

To my knowledge, there has never been an update without a "what's new".

MacUpdate has somehow "magically linked" to my site, and update my software without me doing anything. Unfortunately, they do not provide update information when they do this.

They will ask for registration of course - Ilgaz

The software deals with crooks who are low to hack a prime school small webserver to send sex spams everywhere.

They can't let anyone in to forums without registration, imagine what would those spammers do if they had access.

This kind of software and services (spamcop.NE) are constantly attacked by spammers who wants us to read or ignore their mafia business tactics instead of reporting them where they belong. I am sure there is something like that happening and developer takes care of it using multiple updates.
