I cannot believe the negative comments below this. I suspect they are made by younger people who never grew up playing the original paper and pencil Hangman. If they had,they would know that there was then, and is now, NO violent intent in the game in spite of how it appears to the uninitiated. Hangman Bible exposes more people to the BIble itself and challenges people to learn more and to see what they know now. It is in a form that is likely to draw more people into reading the Bible itself and to looking up things they may have not known about before almost always reading even more on the way. It would appear that Satan himself has found a way to use so-called "Christians" to discourage exposure and interest in the Bible. Absurd! This is a fine game, a fine FAMILY, secretly educational, game. These are what the author has always done consistent with his own family values. I have other games by this author and wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them. In addition, he is a solid, long-time developer for the Mac. Get the game!
