Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Maybe you should add a warning that says this application does not work with anything below 10.4. I tried downloading this but when I double-click on the icon, absolutely nothing happens. If I didn't know better (or if I'd downloaded this utility from somewhere like Versiontracker that doesn't tell me the application is 10.4 specific) I may have spent hours trying to figure out why the application was broken, or maybe spent hours trying to 'fix' my computer when in fact the application is the problem. At least put a Readme file in with the archive, to stop people running an older system from wasting time.

Developers who only develop for the latest version of OSX are simply turning Apple into another Microsoft. I don't want to be forced into upgrading my computer and operating system every year just so I can use some stupid utility. But if it gets to be that way, Windows is still much cheaper and my Windows 98 computer still runs the majority of shareware and commercial software, so I could just stick to using that instead. I'll have to forget the Mac exists. Sure, I'd miss the Mac, but at least I know that most companies don't turn their backs and ignore people with older computers.

Suggestion - SEAL Systems

If you look on the Version Tracker description page it does say that it needs 10.4.
