Elegantly simple. I recommend this utility to everyone, especially my clients who I regularly have to talk through troubleshooting procedures over the phone, whether it involves permission repair, launch services db rebuild, etc. I would still use and recommend it even if it were not free. That is why this is badly missed right now, after the 10.4.8 update. We hope an update is forthcoming. It is good that it disables itself with the system update. I have had unfortunate experiences with system utilities still working after an OS update, only to learn that they don't work right thereby damaging system files.
