mp3s...it seems to feel the necessity to launch iTunes and add it to the iTunes library when you open an mp3 with SndSampler. I’d really rather it did not do this without my telling it to.

MP3 Decoding - sndsampler

SndSampler offers several options for MP3 decoding. One option is to have iTunes decode the MP3. You can turn this feature off if you like (Edit > Preferences). But sometimes you'll encounter an MP3 that only iTunes can decode, so that's why it's a good idea to allow SndSampler to work with iTunes. But iTunes isn't supposed to add the MP3 file to the library. If this is happening, please let us know by submitting a bug report through http://www.sndsampler.com/. It's a better idea to submit bug reports through the web site than to post them on Version Tracker, because when you submit through the web site we will work with you to get the bug fixed.

No, you won't.

Look at the feedback for this product--numerous negative comments regarding, among other things, your abusive upgrade policies have been ignored. Is there any reason to expect a different reaction to other problems?
