Do Not Install if You Have Comcast Broadband

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Contributed by: heavenorhell_dotmac Friday, September 29 2006 @ 04:42 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

This update has disabled my Comcast Cable Connection. Not Happy! This happened to both my intel and G4 laptops after installing the update. I can connect fine at work, so it seems only to affect my Comcast account at home. Do I have to wait all weekend to get this fixed. What ever happened to Apple not releasing updates on a Friday?
System Info:G4 1.25 GHz Laptop

No trouble here with Comcast after 10.4.7 to 10.4.8 via Software Update, on 20" G5 iMac.
