I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines while others complain for me. The last 2 or 3
versions of VersionTracker have been lousy ! I'm paying for this, why can't you guy get it right? With version 4.2 I didn't see the 30 min scanning time others have complained of, but now I do, with the "improved" version 4.2.1 ! !
Why can't this program get things straight? I have FileMaker Pro Advanced v8, yet this program tells me I need to update from 8.03 to 8.04. Well, newsflash:
there is NO 8.0.4 for FileMaker Pro Advanced, it is only for FileMaker SERVER !!
These are different programs guys, please straighten out your programs ability to discriminate one program from another! Also, what's up with all the Omni programs? When I download OmniWeb, or OmniOutliner, or OmniGraffle Pro, I get a small 4 kb .dmg file that cannot be read nor opened!?? THEN to add insult to injury, your program (VersionTracker) puts a check mark next to my software in the list, as if I had downloaded and upgraded when what I got did NOT work!?
Also, Printer Setup Repair tells me I need to upgrade from version 4.18 to 4.23. The only problem with that is I've already upgraded to version 5.0.5, so what's up with your program that it doesn't a) realize there's a version later than 4.2.3, and b) also doesn't recognize that version 5.0.5 is more recent than 4.2.3 ???
Please fix this junky program! RE-hire your top programmer if you fired him or something like that, if not, get someone better at programming than you have now!! (or more support staff so he/she doesn't have to answer the phone, or WHATEVER you have to do!!!!)

The Omni applications download just fine for me. It may be a problem with your connection or with The Omni Group's server. Don't blame VersionTracker Pro for something that is not their fault. Don't be so quick to assume that someone else is at fault. Do a little troubleshooting, first--e.g., try downloading them again.Reply to This
