Permissions needed repairing after install

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

Ran DU after installing. It repaired permissions on ./Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/Frameworks/InternetUtilities.bundle/Contents/MacOS/InternetUtilities. Should have been -rw-rw-r-- instead of -rwxrwxr-x
Otherwise no problems here so far. Been using the List view with artwork all the time. Great!

Permissions needed repairing after install - Dave Riker

Same issue here. How sad that Apple's own installer should have this problem. Its unreal how bad the state of Software QA has sunk to.

7.0 has that permissions difference. It's not new to 7.0.1.

I never loaded itunes 7, having preferred to wait for update and still had same disk repair notice. Otherwise, so far so good.

I ran repair permissions and nothing was found after installing the 7.0.1 update.
