I have used Eudora since my IIci whenever that was.
I have a new MacBook Pro and am finding Eudora 6.2.4b6 to be about the worst program I have running thru Rosetta. My BIG programs (Photoshop, Fireorks, Dreamweaver) do fine, but in Eudora I see the various wait cursors (rainbow, wris*censored*ch, Eudora's pendulum) more than I have in any program except the Finder.
Why should I have to wait a couple of seconds for an email to be sent to the trash or for the window to open?
I dont suppose there is any hope that we will see a Universal binary anytime in this generation.
If there were a viable alternative I would switch
Eudora
Email client based on Thunderbird.
Version: 8.0.0b7
Eudora's not much fun on Intel Macs - nobys
Hi,I am using Eudora as well for a long time and made the same observations on too long wait times on my MacBook Pro. What helped much for more speed in Eudora as well as most other programs and especially Finder was to upgrade the main memory to 2GB. Well, it cost some money, but gives you a lot back.
