Slow or broken?

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: BiG77 Sunday, September 24 2006 @ 11:45 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

Replaced 4.1 with 4.2. Clicked on "check for updates". It's been running for over an hour so far, chewing up a good amount of CPU and memory. Will leave it running overnight, but sure looks broken to me.

Slow or broken? - CNET TechTracker Staff

With the new 4.2 release of VersionTracker Pro the application does a much deeper scan of your applications than previous versions. We suggest that you set your preferences to scan “Software I Use”, this will scan much faster than “All My Software” -- please note if you have multiple watchlists you need to do this for each of your watchlists.
