Hi,
On their website the developers say it works fine with Intel Macs. Has anyone tested this? The newest reviews on the company's site are from 2004. Is Reunion still the best genealogy app for Macs?
Thanks,
Leonard.

I'm still waiting for a Unicode version so I can dump my last OS9 program (Reunion 6). It would be a waste of money to buy the current version as I can't enter the names of my wife's side of the family in Reunion 8.Depending on your definition of "state of the art" and your needs, you may wish to look elsewhere.

While I don't (yet) have an Intel-processor Mac, one of the others who do has said "I am happy to report that Reunion 8.0.6 works just fine on the new iMac. I just set up my new 20" iMac this evening. I transferred all settings, applications, files, etc. using the FireWire target method (which the setup walks you through). Of course, it seems pretty close to twice as fast as it was on the G4 eMac that I've been using. Charts pop up like a lightning strike." (Bob White on ReunionTalk [http://www.reuniontalk.com/showthread.php?t=866#post4133]--and do read on in that thread where the "bug" he thought he had found wasn't actually a "bug".)And is Reunion still the best on the Mac? From my--and many other's--perspective, a resounding "yes".
