Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I was offered this update by Software Update on my 2GHz white MacBook running system build 8J2135, and assumed it would be OK to install it given that it was offered, and my system fitted the requirements.

Prior to installing this, my wireless connection was fine. Now it no longer works, and I can only connect to the Internet if my Ethernet cable is plugged in. Most annoying; I really wish I hadn't installed this now.

The AirPort connection does still work occasionally and my wireless network is found and listed. But I can't connect to the 'net through Safari, and it's basically in a non-working state now.

Disabled my wireless networking - mlouka

Do you mean after reconfiguring your base station with the updated software? This software just updates the utility applications for configuring base stations and accessing features on the new Airport Extreme base station so unless you have updated your Airport Base station then this update shouldn't have made any difference to your networking.
