This is a fine product that does what's it's supposed to. These slams and rants are really a bit much.

Don't let all the negative scare you - Ataritox

I agree with you fully. I installed version 10.0 when Tiger came out and it works fine. Never had a problem. It is if it is not even there it just does what it is supposed to do, uncompress files. Its free and I have never been nagged by unsolicited email from them.

I use Tigers built in zip to compress my files for I do freelance graphic design for companies that use windows. But when I need stuff it, it works. I feel bad for those who have so many problems with it, for I can see how frustrated they are in their negative comments.
