I went to there site, and didn't see any mention of Litetscribe support.
Can any version 4 users confirm its functionality, or lack of.
Will buy a litescribe burner this week (they cost the same as non litescribe burners at newegg). Looks like disclabel supports it, but I am a longtime user of Discus, and find it quick and easy and good results, so I hope they do support Litescribe soon

Have you Checked the LaCie drive with LightScribe. They have models with Toast 7 (includes Discus 3RE small Library) but some models comes with LaCie software which is always good. I use LaCie SilverKeeper to backup daily at 9:00 AM. It works in the background while I do e-mail. I have 3-year old LaCie CD-Burner and 2-year old External HD. My new Core Duo Mac has a built in DVD burner. I use the Epson R220 to print directly on the Disc which is cheaper that LightScribe discs. For printable discs I pay $0.19 each in lots of 100 for 700 MB, 48 speed, and 80 minutes of Music. I have not checked the DVD prices lately, and have never checked LightScribe DVD prices. In Switching from 4:00M to 4:00R I had to export (TIFF, jpg) and import to later Beta software was no problem. I cannot think LaCie would sell a LightScribe burner without Mac software as another person suggested.
LaCie has a $70 internal LightScribe burner with Mac Software and external for $120. The following is a copy and Paste from LaCie:
Get new LightScribe v1.2 media to burn labels up to 30% faster with enhanced contrast. Use with any LaCie LightScribe drive for the same price as standard LightScribe media. LightScribe v1.2 discs require host software 1.4.62.1 or later. Download the free update for Windows or Mac OS.

There isn't any direct support for LightScribe. I just design my label in Discus, export the design to a TIFF file and place that file in the LightScribe software that came with my drive.Reply to This
