Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Exactly what versions of OS X is this turkey compatible with? I DARE you to find any system compatibility information --even for Windows-- on their web site.

This matters to me because I have a Mac which will not run anything newer than Jaguar on it, and I need a modern, compatible, do-all browser, which Apple will not supply for anything older than Tiger.

This application runs EXCRUCIATINGLY slow on my Mac. What is worse, when I go to Opera's website for information, the pop-up menus ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE do not function when viewed with Opera 9.0.2, the self-proclaimed king of compatibility. They work just fine with Safari 1.0.3.

This is the second time I have attempted to leave remarks about this program on VersionTracker. The first time, I used Opera itself, and it spontaneously quit when I clicked the preview button.

Pfui.

You obviously have an older mac; that's fine, but don't complain when new software (even a browser) runs slowly. TIME TO UPGRADE OR QUIT COMPLAINING.

Hello, Matthew

I do not consider it unreasonable to ask that a software publisher tell me what operating systems their software is compatible with.

I do not consider it unreasonable to warn other potential users that the software does not function as advertised.

As a matter of fact, I do own a newer Macintosh, and am running the latest software on it. I also own several even older Macs. I test software for another publisher, who needs to know what browsers support them, as they care about people who, unlike you, do not have the ability to just go out and pick up the latest and greatest.
