This is the most un-intuitive, user-unfriendly program Apple has ever released. Nothing ever does what I think it will or want it to. Labels that won't allow the typeface to be changed, themes with backgrounds, buttons, and drop zones that can't be changed or deleted... I don't want or like any of the canned themes. Why can't I just start with a plain white background, drag some images and text in, specify some buttons & menus, and burn?
The help file is abysmal too.

Exactly how is this free? If I have to buy iLife 08 to obtain the new iDVD, then it's NOT FREE. Geez.Wednesday, September 26 2007 @ 08:52 PM PDT

I see where you're coming from, though I personally find the program intuitive enough. It does what I ask it to (within the limits of what it can do anyway) though I agree it's a shame we can't start with a blank canvas and create our own themes, change the typeface size, etc. I often have trouble finding a theme that's suitable for my project. Give Apple some feedback. They won't reply but you never know; they MIGHT incorporate your suggestions into future versions of iDVD. Pigs might fly first, of course, but you definitely won't get the changes you want if you don't ask! :-)Friday, October 26 2007 @ 02:16 PM PDT
