This would be great, except I don't want it in my already crowded menu bar. It's a maintenance utility, meaning that you use it once in a while, not every day, thus it doesn't belong in the menu bar.

Then dont put it in the menu bar. Or dont use it if you dont find it useful or helpful. Many other s do. And they enjoy using it and having it in the menu bar. No Biggie!
