I have a MacBook 2GHz + 2GB also, but I did not see any of the issues reported by toddsnc below.
Over the releases so far, I have seen from time to time a weird thing where Parallels cannot be unhidden and has to be killed. Can't find recipe though. All in all, it works well for me, through 1898.
Biggest issues I see are the USB[2] abstraction and lack of 2-core support.
Go Team Parallels.
Parallels Desktop
Run Windows simultaneously with OS X.

no problems in MacBook - docsevo
I have a macbook 2 gb 1mb with 1884 Parallels. Seems to work fine with no issues other than (for me) the huge issue of no USB2 functionality. Are they addressing this? Is it some major technical problem? A partial workaround I use is a Silex device that enables USB devices on a network. At least the drives work at network rather than USB1.1 speeds. In view of the comments here I am going to avoid messing with a good thing and not upgrade until Parallels addresses the USB@ issue.
