No Grounds For Lawsuit - iMarc
WHY is it that (small-minded) people have to threaten every little thing they don't like with a lawsuit? This is BETA software. It says so. If you want full support of your "Lookit me, I've got the newest & biggest" Mac Pro, then WAIT. I further suggest you wait for the inevitable bug-fix release AFTER the official release of the production application with Mac Pro support.
Mac Pros are BRAND NEW machines. Apple did not let anyone have them in advance for testing. They have a different architecture than the previous Intel-based Macs. There are bound to be some issues that need to be worked out. Parallels is doing an admirable job of addressing issues, especially for a small company with (presumably) very limited resources.
If you can't accept that, I have some suggestions:
1) Wait for the production release
2) Buy a Mac system that's been in the developer's hands for a while
3) Buy a Dell (you and they deserve each other)
4) Hold your breath for half an hour
One other suggestion: read Macfixit.com daily. They covered the working memory reduction some time ago; both how to reduce the memory visible to the system AND how to restore it.
