Shame On stupidfish

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

OK so I bought the buggy 2.0 version because I was told you guys were fixing the bugs. So I wait, and I wait, and I wait. Years go by.

So FINALLY 3.0 comes out with supposably bug fixes and new features.

What do you guys want me to do? Pay you more money for it.

No thanks. I simply refuse to be taken for more money on a shareware product, while useful, was full of bugs when I registered it. I didn't mind because I kept being told a NEW version was gonna be out to fix all this.

We just weren't told stupid fish would be charging for it.

Most companies like this that sell shareware applications give you more than one version with the money you payed.

There are just too many programs like yours that make you only pay ONCE for multiple upgrades.

You'll never survive doing business this way.

Shame on your stupidfish.

BTW, I don't recommend anyone buy this product. Unless they like paying for the same SHAREWARE product over and over again.

If Stupidfish continues this route, they need to change the description to COMMERCIAL software. And NOT shareware.

Shareware is misleading. They took me for the bait and switch game.

OK, I just downloaded 3 and am giving it a whirl, so I can't offer a rating just as yet, but I wanted to speak up to tell kknopp to calm down about the shareware thing. Do you realize you're up in arms about an $8 upgrade? I don't believe it's written anywhere that shareware developers are to provide free upgrades ad-infintem.

I think the developer has a right to try to make a living from his work, so cool it!If you don't like the pricing, quit your *censored*ing and just don't buy it.

And as I explained to you, that isn't how shareware works.
