Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

. . .Than Toast when converting .avi's to DVD's.

I'm sure it's probably a great product and does exactly what it says it does, but I'd really hoped for a product that would smoke Toast in the encoding process.

I'm still going to give it a positive rating, though -- If for no other reason than because it has so many other options that will allow me to clean up the clutter of single-use apps in my applications folder

The benefit comes from being able to fit a lot more into a disk and not have to calculate bitrates to do so. Now if only it let you make a simple menu for the items, it might actually be useful enough to buy.
