Good program, but at what cost?

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I unfortunately found myself in need of this program, so I downloaded it. It works as advertised, extracting URLs from my files -- that's nice. However, the cost is way too high. Since I have need of the program I am giving in once, but I don't doubt that the high cost will mean few other people will buy, meaning the program will recieve attention from the publisher, meaning it will die in 1-2 years. If only it was $10 or $15, instead of $45. What a shame the developer, who does very good software coding work, had to price it so poorly. :(

Good program, but at what cost? - mike80

It's a nice UI and the program seems to work well but the fact that you can do the same thing for FREE with Firefox and DownThemAll makes the price unrealistic. The developer would no doubt make more by reducing the price and getting some quantity. I'd pay $10 to get the nice UI but I'll stick to DownThemAll instead.
