I Should Press Charges

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

So, I decided it was time to update the virus defs. Signed on. The site suggested I "upgrade" to NIS 3.0, which now I think I actually had done years ago, but what the hell, I spent the 40 bucks to "upgrade." I now see, however, that the suite doesn't work with any new version of OSX. Further, my NAV def subscription wasn't renewed anyway, and STILL says it's expired. I can't get to support on the website without their page crashing. I'm astonished they can stay in business. I long since abandoned them on my Windows boxes, and now I plan to just tell myself that I spent 40 bucks smartening myself up on the Mac side. As soon as I post this, I will rid my computer and my life of this fraudulent company's garbage once and for all, and be glad it only cost me 40 clams and not my whole life's worth of data.

there is an UNINSTALLER which worked fine under 10.3.
I asked a refund after buying NIS3.
It was the same stuff I already had.
when I wanted to upgrade Norton Antivirus 9 to 10, I saw the upgrade to NIS3 and taught it would have features I did not have in my actual NIS3. comparing the two images it was the same stuff.
IMPORTANT
NIS3 actually works under 10.4 but NOT INTEL.
You have to remove the Norton Privacy Module; but Norton Firewall works great and NIS10 is very good. it killed two virus PC yesterday, some shit I got while surfing.
