Looks pretty, but has two fatal flaws

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

The game looks gorgeous on a Quad Mac Pro at 2560x1600x32... Unfortunately, voice-overs completely cut out after the 4th or 5th person (when using OpenAL, which, to be fair, you are warned about "sound dropouts" with this version of OpenAL). However, the game exits back to the title screen when you try and go to the next area (Mars Underground), making this version unplayable.

Looks pretty, but has two fatal flaws - hEADcRASH

Update:

After receiving an email back from Aspyr's technical support, I went ahead and reinstalled everything. I can get to the next area now, although voice-overs are still dropping out... might not be a big deal for "atmosphere," but they are important when you need to listen for a code... (do subtitles work? hmmm...

Aspyr also claimed that "we cannot offer full support for the GeForce Quadro series cards, which are not intended for gaming," which is pretty odd when you consider this chart on Apple's site.

That is a damn strange statement from Aspyr about the GeForce Quadro cards - after all, the Quadro series cards are certified to be fully OpenGL compliant! Bizarre...

I have the same problem. And I just shelled out for this game for my new Mac... highly unacceptable!
