hi,sorry to hear you're having problems with jungulator...although version 4.3.1 is far more solid than previous releases (we've fixed all manner of bugs, removed loads of bad code, and given it a slightly less confusing interface) it hangs on startup on some machines for no very obvious reason...Matt (who built the thing) thinks its something to do with whether the host machine has used Max/MSP before; a "virgin" machine sometimes seems to have problems recognising it as a Max/MSP compiled app...if you follow that line of thinking its worth downloading and installing the free software environment 'Max/MSP Runtime' from Cycling'74 (http://www.cycling74.com/downloads/maxmsp)...download whichever version of Runtime is appropriate to your computer and see if that helps...another thing worth mentioning; under jungulator's hood there's some pretty complex realtime processing going on from the moment you start it up, and i would always recommend maxing out the ram in your machine...it can only have a positive effect on performance...for the record, we run our apps on an array of 3 Macs and 2 PCs (i use a 2003 G4 1Gig dual processor Mac with 2 Gigs of ram and OS 10.3.9) and the common link between all our computers is that they all have at least 1 Gig of ram onboard...I think we may need to revise our minimum ram estimate upwards...
hope this is useful...
regards,
dave

What version of Mac OS are you using?I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.7 (Tiger) and IATMJ runs smooth as butter.
Also, very friendly support at:

Might me worth getting in-touch if you still have problems.
Kind regards
John
