I've been experimenting more and more with electronica-based music and like to take a more 'freeform' approach to creating audio.

I've never been completely happy with the 'rigidity' of the software available and as a student cannot (for the moment!) afford large expensive packages.

You can start experimenting (in realtime) immediately after install and it has a wealth of features that make music experimentation so much more fun than any other package I have tried.
