Tried "Trash It" on my G4 Mac. It changedmy permissions, did not delete the file and after I used it, Super Duper would not load. I'm scared to try it again.

The fact that your permissions, as you say, were so messed up all over the place would be a good indicator of of why you couldn't delete items easily. I've been using trash it for years and in all that time I have never had a single problem. I also repair my disk permissions at least every 2 weeks which helps immensely in preventing undeletable files from appearing.Sunday, December 10 2006 @ 06:25 PM PST
