EyeTV 2.3.1 is scheduled for release very soon.
For the past month, Elgato has been making adjustments to EyeTV 2.3, so that EyeTV users with DVB broadcasts can get normal reception. All of the problems mentioned in this forum relating to playback should have been solved by this release.
Users have been contacting us to receive help, namely through beta software. They have been testing this software for weeks, with good results. If you have playback issues with DVB video, especially DVB-T (DTT), then contact Elgato Support for immediate assistance.
Otherwise, your problems should be taken care of by the next release.
Thank you for your patience, and make sure to always contact Elgato Systems whenever you have a problem with EyeTV - there are usually fast solutions.

Excellent support - GrahamAJones
Hi,I just wanted to chime in, in response to the negative posters. Elgato has top notch technical support, and issues responses to properly submitted tech requests in record time.
I've had some issues with my new Mac Pro, and also questions about the EyeTV Hybrid. The longest they took to respond was 90 minutes... I don't know many companies that offer that kind of service.
Also, you have to keep in mind that they support an incredibly wide range of hardware on several operating systems and many hardware configurations, plus dealing with international issues with various TV systems... Yikes!
I guess what I am saying is... If you have issues, please report them properly with as much detail as possible using their web site's support ticket system. That's the only way they have any chance of hearing about these issues and fixing them. And... that will benefit not only you but also any other users who may be experiencing the same issues.
Just so you know, I am in no way affiliated with Elgato. I am a software developer myself, and I know how hard it is to fix bugs if no one tells me about them.
My two bits anyway,
Graham Jones.
