I really want to like this application. But it's not there yet, at least for me. I want one simple thing: when I use the Dock or the Apple Application Switcher (command-tab) to switch to a different application, I want Virtue to switch to the desktop that the application is bound to. It doesn't do this (MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz, 2 GB).

Just not there yet - Stormchild

Well, actually, this feature is in there, it just doesn't work a lot of the time. There are a number of problems with switching to apps on different desktops at the moment. There are open tickets on these and I imagine they'll get sorted out before 0.6.

feature/fix priorities ... - sjk

Does anyone seriously think supporting ALS switching is more useful than a feature like you've suggested?

Not sure what you're doing wrong but when selecting an app from the dock or app switcher.....switching to the desktop that the app is bound to is exactly what Virtue does on my Powerbook.

Same here; command-tab switching moves me to the desktop that the app I have chosen is bound to. What I cannot do yet is create new desktops. That I want to do.

WorkStrip, LaunchBar, and Apple TAB work for me in going to the window to which that application is bound.
