You people need to chill! How Google decides to run its business is the way it is. EIther right or wrong they will have to deal with it. I for one am happy to see they are supporting the Mac and even have released in Universal. If you don't like there business model then fine...move on...but this is to review the software for those that use it not make "open source" political statements.

You don't need to be a Google fanboy to get sick of wading through "DRM is bad comments".Wednesday, August 23 2006 @ 04:15 PM PDT

The fact that there are so many of these types of comments is a good thing. It is an indicator that the public is sick and tired of all this DRM bullshit. These comments do find their way back to developers. They most likely don't care but at least they know that proprietary DRM is not a popular business model and maybe the public might prefer that developers work toward compliance to standards and interoperability. A lot of people just don't like the fact that all these companies want to individually control the way things are delivered over the internet. Google is just evolving into another Microsoft.Wednesday, August 23 2006 @ 07:40 PM PDT

Do not see the resemblance with Microsoft. Google Video Player is freeware, isn'it?Monday, December 11 2006 @ 07:01 AM PST

You didn't follow your own advice, all you did was criticize other people. There is nothing in your comment as to the usefulness or functionality of this crappy software. It is good because it is UB? Thanks for that great tip."If you don't like there business model"
Were you trying to say "their" business model?
This is an appropriate forum for reviews, comments and rants & raves. If you don't like the way the forum is being used, don't read it. You are a Google fanboy - others are not. Get over yourself.
