Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I love this app, neat and efficient. A definite five star app.

But I need a diagnosis for the internal microphone.
Symptom:
(while playing a song using iTune)
1. I can not record it using the internal microphone option.
(check the monitor option: nothing observed.)
2.In system preference->sound->input, the input level for the internal microphone is also zero.

Does it mean that the internal mic is wrong? Thanks
(The machine is a powerbook 15in Aluminum)

Microphone is for capturing sounds in the air outside the computer, such as your voice. If you have a song in iTunes, it is already recorded.
Maybe you should be looking for a file converter.

You need to go to system prefs/sound/input and select sound input then you can record anything that your computer soundcard outputs. You cant record from the internal mike from itunes or any sound source such as a tuner am/fm.
