Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Here's a short list of first use...
1 Phones home on start up. WT? A program containing sensitive information making unsecured connection on start up? Not very iSafe.
2 When dragging to Applications folder to upgrade trial version, all data previously entered and user login lost.
3 Editing entries doesn't let you edit all things, sometimes freezes, sometimes completely shuts down losing all unsaved data. Especially on Serial Number entries.
4 No resizing of window.
5 Preferences option is in menu but is dithered... no Preferences?
6 Support FAQ on website contains no useful information for troubleshooting.

Tried two separate installations, one with upgrading the trial version and one with clean install after removing all traces of trial version.
Same result both ways.
Keep your $20 in your pocket on this one.

Phoning home? - Tea for two

while i can't say that i've tried this program, the whole buzz around 'phoning home' isn't such a big deal. you are probably using little snitch? and if so 99% of all programs that trigger a little snitch alert are just checking for updates.

again i don't know about this exact program but that is the case with almost all others. with exceptions of course. but just phoning home to check for an update shouldn't be a cause of alarm in itself. you can usually switch this off in the program anyways.
