it's shown 1.4f10 now. actually I was worry about temperature before. it was between 62C ~ 67C which was depends on situation. now it shows 52C~53C. at the same time, hard drive temp also seems to drop. it's a big different. I am glad to see apple finally does a good job. thank you Apple!

No. More Likely is that the HD is not getting ad hot because the rest of the MacBook is staying cooler and the fans are coming on more frequently, thus also cooling the HD as well.Thursday, August 17 2006 @ 09:49 PM PDT

How can the HD temp drop through a firmware update? Doesn't make sense unless the fan starts to run more frequently. I am not hearing that.Reply to This
