At first this program blew my mind, it was everything I have been looking for in a plug in to incorporate my hotmail account into my mail program. After about my 3rd system restart, everytime I opened my mail program it would crash. I would restart, do everything else to get my system back to normal, and BOOM it would crash again. TIme after time again it would try and open and then want to report to apple about how much it sucks. I had to go in and delete the httpmail plugin. Let me know when you find a plug in that lets you send and receive emails from your yahoo and hotmail accounts... I give this plugin a "BOO!" and middle finger out of 2 thumbs.

Is the vulgarity necessary? - Andreas..
You might look at the number of stars this wonderful plug-in has and the views of the majority who post here before you decide that the fault cannot possibly be yours. Your rudeness is childish as well as stupid.Friday, August 11 2006 @ 03:58 AM PDT

Dude,As you can see from the other reviews... the plug-in is working fine for many people. There is obviously something on your machine that is conflicting with the software. Instead of whining like a six year old, why not send a message to the developer and see if they can work with you to fix it. And remember, you get what you pay for... free software is a treat... not a privilege.

I disagree with the others - you're right to complain about things that 'just don't work' and blight the excellence of the platform. Free stuff isn't a treat if it takes your apps or systems down or causes you to lose data - it's malware! On a more constructive note others are successful so have you had any joy getting this thing going? What are your symptoms?

Did you check to make sure only one copy is installed? Multiple copies of a plugin installed will crash any application or service that uses them. Try looking in both/Library/Mail/Bundlesand~/Library/Mail/Bundles. You should also check to see if you are using the correct version. There is are different plugins for 10.3 and 10.4 versions of Mail, make sure you are using the right one.Reply to This
