As stated by a previous user, Afetr Effects plug ins DO NOT work on teh Intel version of FCP at this time. However, Apple has NOTHING to do with this. Adobe has not yet announced plans for a Universal Binary version of the After Effects plug-in API. Until they do (and they might never), Intel-based Macs owners are out of luck.
Stick to your G5's for a while!

Wow! Really? Glad I didn't buy an Intel Mac. 'specially since the prices aint all that cheap! Still have the old G5...workin' like a charm. 'Have never trusted Intel. You'll probably have to wait 'till a graphics-enhanced version made 'specially for the Macs comes out. The plain jane vanilla Intel chips don't cut it. Looks like the Intel macs won't be compatible with everything for quite a while. Thanx for the AD-vice! :DReply to This
