How is it that MS Office is the only app (that I'm aware of) on the Mac that even comes close to needing an update that "fixes vulnerabilities...that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code." Do they really care anymore?

Well, you must not be aware of much then. Security holes are everywhere (y'know those security updates from Apple, Firefox, etc.). Just because a patch is released for an exploit does NOT mean that exploit is public knowledge, in fact that is rarely the case. Shame on M$ for continuing to update its software: those bastards.Reply to This
