Yes, folks... the Microsoft buyout of VPC from Connectix was INDEED... a BAD THING...
August 7 - 17:01 EDT Microsoft today said it will discontinue development of Virtual PC for Mac...
This is EXACTLY what I said Microsoft would do when they bought VPC from Connectix. I said this on VT and elsewhere & I got a bunch of crap from some of you about this who... Hahaha... thought that the buyout would be... Hahaha... a good thing for Mac users. Now, go ahead, morons... mark THIS commentary "unhelpful"... to your ego.
When are you going to learn to listen to the Cow? Sigh... Farewell, Virtual PC.. Boy, sure glad Microsoft bought you out... right, chumps? NOW do you see?! Probably same types that didn't heed warnings about voting for POS Bush back into office...

Actually, I think they only dropped plans to produce a universal binary version. It remains unclear to me whether they dropped VPC altogether. They certainly took their sweet time about announcing it, since the product essentially died when Boot Camp and Parallels were announced and demonstrated. It certainly feels like the PPC-VPC is dead since those of us with modern day G5 desktop computers running OSX.4 seem to be forgotten - I cannot install 702 on my dual G5 because VPC does not recognize the CD ROM drive.
