How about doing what VueScan does. They list updates ONLY, then people can go to their site to make sure their scanner is supported. I'd urge everyone to support VueScan, it's great software and VueScan does not spam versiontracker.

Wouldn't it be better for SilverFast to simply put ONE notice on versiontracker every once-in-a-while when SilverFast has a REAL update? There is NO need to spam versiontracker every single time you tweak a piece of scanner software. It gets incredibly annoying seeing three or four SilverFast listings on what seems like a daily basis. Give use a freaking break will you? Find another way to spam people! That would certainly earn you more goodwill from versiontracker users.

BUY VUESCAN.....They don't spam!
