I like typeit4me, but I can't really use it because, when it's running, the system responds to the command-tab (to switch apps) too slowly. The slight delay between invoking command-tab and the app actually switching is driving me crazy. And I use command-tab constantly during the day. So I will say typeit4me is a great little tool, but I can't use it until (unless) this issue is fixed. (I've found that TextExpander doesn't have this problem.)

I have the same problem; I've seen it on two different machines a PowerBook G4 and Dual Processor PPC. Not fixed with the 3.0.1 upgrade.Tuesday, August 15 2006 @ 01:22 AM PDT

Same here, with the previous version as well as this latest update. Sent a mail to the developer some months ago, but no response at all. Toggling TypeIt4Me off and on again, as another commenter suggested, does not eliminate the problem here, unfortunately.Saturday, January 27 2007 @ 09:24 AM PST

Strange ... I also use Ti4Me (all the time) and command-tab. I did't notice any delay, the app-switching is just instantaneous, I don't think it could be faster. This on a PB G4 1.67 GHz, 1MB RAM, running 10.4.7Reply to This
