This application could easily have been developed for 10.2 or even 10.1. Why should I buy 10.3 just to use this freeware app?

Why should you buy 10.3? Can you even buy 10.3? 10.4 is the current OS... What the heck are you still running 10.2 for?

Well if you think it would have been so easy to make it for 10.2 why don't you do it yourself?

I thought everyone was using 10.4 by now and getting ready for 10.5. Software makers write programs for the newest systems they can. That's how they make their money. If they were writing software for OS 7, 8, 9, 10.1, or 10.2, they would go broke.

Why in the heck should you buy 10.3? You shouldn't. You should buy 10.4, or even wait until 10.5.

Things have moved on a lot since 10.2. I'm not being sarcastic. Really, I think you'd enjoy the new OS X.

Ask Apple - Ilgaz

They are the ones not caring about backwards compatibility, not independent freeware developers.
