WARNING!

Feedback Type:  Usage Tip

Contributed by: rodneylbrownjr Friday, July 28 2006 @ 06:50 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

If you run Audacity 1.3.0, it will do something to your audio playback system which will cause the Audio Output settings section of the Audio MIDI Setup utility (in the Utilities folder) to disappear and show "Output is not supported". This will prevent you from using Roxio Jam (and possibly other software). This problem is not corrected by a reboot.

If anyone knows how to undo the apparently permanent system damage caused by Audacity, I'd sure like to know!

Does this problem occur with 1.2.4 (the stable version)?
