This program is terrific in its current 11.54 form! (And also in 11.04 if you are on OS X 10.46/PPC). It's now much faster as a Universal Binary on Intel machines, and doesn't fail as far as I can see. (I don't use it to drive scanners directly, though.) If you're having a problem getting it to run, try tech support. First inquiry took me a day but the second came in about five minutes. The scanning results are simply incredible - far better than any OCR program I've ever used before.
