Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

The previous reviewer's comments don't do this program justice. It is truly a work of art, with great attention to detail throughout. It puts a working and elegant Mac face on a sophisticated system. One of our servers has used Rumpus for years with zero problems; we recently bought two more copies just for the great new Web File Manager. If you need to provide access to files, you need the WFM. The WFM integrates with Active Directory, and can use established home directories.

The programmer is quick to respond to questions, and fixes problems in a short time frame. The price makes some balk, and yes there should probably be a five user home version or something similar for a lower price, but for schools and businesses this is the best software you are going to find in this category.

A one-time generation of an SSL certificate that can last several years should not be a point of concern.

Well to you how wrote this.. It should be a concern, I mean not everyone is a nerd, someone us have better things to do then sit locked in front of out computer trying to read and understand how to create a SSL cert. I mean Pure FTP - FREE and does all this. creates the SSL one button.. done.. Why would anyone want to read through all the directions, I mean the price is not FREE. it is $$$$ as SSH is important I think it should be a one button click and ready, as it is something that all users would want,, Well unless you are a nerd and have nothing better to do then sit in front of the computer and like figuring out stuff like this.
