Remote and burning problems

Used Product For: Less than a month

Installed 2.3 and some buttons on my remote stopped responding e.g. teletext.

Also, when I burn DVD with EyeTV recorded movie and try to watch it on my standalone DVD player, there is a slight pause every second, motion stops for a blink and continue immediately. Everything is set to PAL.

hardware: Terratec Cinergy Hybrid XS and Terratec remote.
