Randy Murray did you read my review of Version 5.1.2 on 03-18-06? It said:
"Version 5.1.2 forgot to include highlighting and bold text in the header of the current day in the Multiday view, and for the current day in the Year view, but, somehow, probably by mistake, remembered to do so in the Week and Month views; an amazing oversight.
Although Version 4.5.3 finally does remind, it continues to remind multiple times--dozens of times--after being dismissed each time the reminder pops up.
My first Tech Support call to Now Software was to Roy on April 23, 1993. Yes, 1993. Present owners and management have not impressed and continue to disappoint. Will they ever allocate a development budget necessary to make this software work properly?"
Version 5.3.0 has the same highlighting issues as Version 5.1.2; I will let you know about the reminder issue. In the mean time, Jack, er,a, Randy, fix your software!!!!!!

Nice that you responded, Randy. Problem is, the highlighting was present in prior versions, including version 4.5.3 (which I presently use). Your team did not, as a matter of interface design, decide to not highlight the header in the current day on the multi-day view; they overlooked the feature in the rush to release the latest eye candy versions. Your quality control team missed it too. In case you did not know, the highlighting lets one know at-a-glance what is the current day. Why would one remove this feature from the multi-day view but let it remain in the month view? Your attitude permeates Now Software; this is why your reviews are so poor. All that is necessary from a customer service point-of-view is to acknowledge the oversight and assure that it will be fixed in the future. I did not report a bug as your excuse reply indicates; I reported just what Now Software represents in customer support. Thank you for confirming my position. Please review page one of the standard college course, Customer Service Primer 101. P.S. Please do not respond. Just take care of the design oversight, and if the reminder issue is fixed (cannot tell you now since I will not upgrade until the interface is complete) you will continue to get paid (remember why you do what you do).Friday, July 28 2006 @ 12:28 PM PDT

In response to your post:Highlighting current day in different views is a design choice, not a bug. We're happy to take a suggestion, but it's working as designed.
As to reminders - we don't have any reports of reminder problems in the current version.
