I just upgraded Entourage 2004 for Mac to v. 11.2.5. I have two
acounts,one with gmail and the other Verizon.
Since I upgraded, my Verizon account deposits two of each pieces of
mail into my folders. If i have programed Entourage to transfer some
mail to an alternate folders, one copy is transfered and the other
stays in the "inbox". This particulary bothersome when the other
folder is my spam folder. The mail goes there but a copy is in "inbox" where
I did not want it.

Any help?

Any chance you are leaving the messages on the server? This might be why it is getting confused. I've never had this problem with my ISP, but using FreePOPs and Yahoo mail, I had it all the time.

FYI, there is a script that will remove duplicates from Entourage. Ff you can't find it, let me know where to mail it and I'll send it to you.
