Almost all the functions are dimmed for unregistered users. The trial is meaningless.

The basic functionality (play one of the default sounds on the hour) is completely free. Many satisfied users have told me this is sufficient for their needs.

For six bucks (the price of lunch, or two espresso drinks, or a matinee movie ticket) you get to use your own sounds, play them at other time intervals, and use whatever other features I can think to add in future 1.x releases.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I think it's a bargain.
