Security Alert

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: cocoaNut Sunday, July 23 2006 @ 07:43 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

If this had even minimal password security (no encryption) I'd buy it in an instant. I love the interface, the attention to detail but with my content being wide open to anyone who happens to onto my computer; I can't use it.

Just make sure you're the only one using your account on this given computer with a strog password, remember to logout and you're done.

Security Alert - Kevin Harrison

Then use Filevault to encrypt your home directory. It's not the app-maker's fault you don't have your files secured.

You're missing the point. I said "basic" not some tedious logging in/out just to get a cup of coffee in the kitchen; and I'm not one of those security freaks that wants to lock down my files with blowfish bla, bla, bla... Geeez, does it have to be one extreme or the other. I know how to secure my files but in my post I said BASIC and I meant BASIC. Hurumph!
